There is, however, an ever present sense of the Okinawan Goju Ryu Karate spirit, which comes through our Sensei, Ken Jacobs, and is reflected in his students. Kyobukan is a special training place, where the participants, ranging in age from 16 to 60, with a diversity of skills and knowledge, work together to help each other reach their next level of expertise. All students are respected, encouraged and challenged by Sensei Jacobs. He inspires those who have the fortunate opportunity to train with him, due to his dedication to and his mastery of the art of Okinawan Karate."
